Wow, that is an amazing story. A reminder of when you put your mind & heart (ironic?) into it, you can finish it. You just have to get up and get going!!!
fabulous!! what a great story and thanks so much for sharing. we all, in our own way, whether by word or deed, can make some sort of impact somewhere. here is an ultimately trained cardiac surgeon, probably one of the best, if not THE best in his profession, getting an opportunity to save someone else's life and then experience new things because of that life saved. our life new experiences can come to us in many different forms. these two men are lucky to have found each other and they are both the better man. thanks for sharing, mel!!!
You all know how important running is to me and too many of you tell me I'm an inspiration. I thank you all for that but in recent years one of my reasons to keep running is to take the opportunity to let others know life goes on after major illness and surgeries. I don't think I get the word out as much as I could or should but if it helps one person I'm happy. This link is an interesting story that really helps get the point across, I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do and the impact it can make on many others.
