   Hello! My name is Shawna and I am new to Mohave Valley/Bullhead City, AZ and I am a runner looking for a running partner(s). My husband and I are therapist and just moved here.    Shawna, Welcome to the Havasu Hustler's site. Most of us live in Lake Havasu but we have one club member in Bullhead City. All I know about him is his name is Bob and last Sunday ran Rock & Roll Marathon in San Diego, it was his first. I'm sure Karen will be happy to provide his email address to you, she's good at things like that.
   Where did you move from and what marathons have you done? I'm also a marathoner like a few others here in Havasu. My favorite is St. George and I'll be doing it for the thirteenth time in October. Keep on posting and let us know a little more about you.

   I am thrilled to discover someone that trains in Bullhead. My husband and I came from Dayton, OH. We were there so he could finish his grad degree. I am originally from St. Louis, Mo. I have ran the Austin/Chicago/Louisville/Dayton/Detroit/and 2 others but I cannot remember! Sugars, that is just awful. 13 times for St. George...that is great. I should put that one on my list! I look forward to meeting you, Mel! When is the St. George marathon?

   Karen~ I did hear from Bob and doesn't sound like it is going to work out. I think I am just going to get a gym membership. I am not really training for anything in particular. The running group I belonged to in OH usually did several races and I just picked one that was within driving distance. My in-laws live in downtown Chicago so I thought about doing the Chicago Marathon again in Oct.

   We would love for you to join us in Havasu sometime. We occasionally have a Group Run of the Month where it's somewhere different, fun and usually ends with us getting a bite to eat or something to drink afterwards. We'll also be planning a Havasu Huslters Run Club pool party next month (no running involved with this event!) and would love to have you join us. Be sure to stay in touch!

   Yes ma'am! I'll post a separate thread on that once I confirm a date. I thought that would be a great fun way to get our members together for a fun, relaxed afternoon of playing in the pool, bbqing and just hanging out!

   I hate pool parties, barbequing, hanging out with friends, drinking beer and wine. Is there an alternative? (LOL)!!!!!!
