Greetings!
I'm new to the forum and always looking to learn something new about running. Just wanted to introduce myself. I'll be dropping by often for info and inspiration.
I live way, way down south, but have visited Arizona and it was love at first sight. I am looking forward to returning for some races!

South is the Bible Belt, the home of the Blues, fried catfish, the land of "white gold." South is wading in the creek and shelling peas on Grandma's front porch. South is being shocked when you see what really happens on spring break in Florida.
I'm a technology trainer. Spend my hours off outside running or kayaking.
Inside, it's music and painting. I'm a firm believer in:

welcome, sunshine! we are a great informal group. as you can see from this website, we have some local events coming up - the recycled 5k on halloween, the turkey trot in november, and then the half marathon in april. if you can get to any of these, that would be wonderful - they are all awesome events!
